ICAC / Cultural Missions
Cultural exchange programmeCultural Missions
Bringing India's finest artists directly to Canadian audiences, city by city, and giving the diaspora a reason to gather around them.
The programme
Touring is how a council reaches beyond its own city.
Our festivals happen in one place. Cultural Missions is how the council works everywhere else: a touring programme that takes artists of international standing from India to audiences across Canada, usually in partnership with the High Commission of India and local cultural institutions.
Each mission is time‑bound rather than annual. It lives here in full for the length of its run, with dates, venues, tickets and programme, and then joins the archive when the tour closes.
Bring a mission
Host or support a cultural mission.
We work with venues, civic partners, diplomatic missions and sponsors to bring artists to cities across Canada. If you would like to host a date or support a tour, we would like to hear from you.
