Canada Diwali RazzMatazz
Canada's defining Diwali celebration and the country's largest free festival of light.
About
Since 2014 Canada Diwali RazzMatazz has been the anchor of the council's calendar. Held over the Thanksgiving weekend at Mississauga Celebration Square, it is a free, open‑air festival in the civic heart of Canada's most diverse city.
Across the weekend it draws a quarter of a million people and reaches millions more, with a main stage, a marketplace, a food court, family programming and a cultural district running side by side.
The festival has been supported by the Government of Canada and the Province of Ontario since 2016, and it remains free to attend.
Six worlds over one weekend.
